How did you state and local races go?

Here in Arizona, Kari Lake is losing badly to Ruben Gallego. Congresscritter Ciscomani (R) is behind Engel (D) at the moment though the race is too close to call. If Engel wins, it should put the "border issue" into perspective as both of the AZ congressional districts on the border will be blue. None of the other races were competitive.

At the local level, the seditionist county board member is losing to a newcomer but the race is still too close to call.

Looks like the incumbent mayor will ride to a comfortable re-elect here, defeating a Trumpist ex cop. Local city council member trouncing his NIMBY challanger.

Didn't the proposition specifically targeting the predatory slumlord the AIDS Healthcare Foundation also pass?

Currently sitting at 51% and change. There is a lot of vote still out and it might take a couple weeks to be sure but looks like so.

Washington state went ALL blue for the major state executive positions. Legislative positions were a mixed bag…Dems won in the usual blue areas, Repubs in the red ones.

Let me go ahead and drop this link off again for the nth time.

If you haven't read it recently, read it again. Or don't.

Yes. Democratic states need to be doing stuff and aiming to do stuff well. Hard to sell a larger agenda if state governments are sclerotic or if they don't use their power to help their own citizens.

Didn't you have a pro-choice amendment to vote on?

I live in a small town of about 16000. Very red town in a very blue state. Apparently just shy of 12000 are registered to vote, which seems extraordinarily high to me, given that probably at least 2000 of the 16000 are under 18. A little over 9000 people voted this election. 75% seems like extraordinarily high turnout to me.

Anyway, of the 7 or 8 races in our 3 districts, only 2 Republicans won the popular vote in our town. Democrats won the popular vote in the other races by very narrow margins, but still I don't think I've even seen my town vote so blue before. Pretty sure Trump won here in both 2016 and 2020. Harris won this time.

Arizona Proposition 139. Creates a constitutional right to abortion.
60% reporting - 1,339,046 yes, 833,286 no. Yes has been declare victorious. However, the zombie law at the federal level can upend it.

Shitbag Cuellar still won TX-28 and was the single vote I cast for a winning candidate this election. And of course the Democrat I liked the least.

The rural parts of my district reported so Ciscomani is in the lead now as is the seditionist county board member. Lake is still trailing by a substantial margin. Counting is expected to be complete by the 9th.

Since he was in cycle that makes sense.
The guy literally ran on how Colin Allred would sterilize and force sex changes on your kids in their elementary school. I saw that commercial repeatedly for about a week watching the NLCS and ALCS. Oh well at least one good thing happened in the last few weeks with the Dodgers winning it all while skullfucking the Yankees.

City of Dallas residents voted to allow anyone living in Dallas to sue over things even if they originally wouldn’t have standing to sue.

They also voted in requiring the city to spend 50% of all new revenue on police.

Both of these were designed by a group led by a highland park resident to essentially fuck over Dallas.

Your state is a throwaway. I came from Houston, enjoyed my time in California but will be moving to a swing state hopefully this year to try to make a difference . I'm thinking NC.

At this point the entire nation is a throwaway. If Trump can sick Seal Team Six to murder a political rival without any legal consequence as Sotomayor claims, he can surely steal the 2028 election.
