University party... she left early, I tried to catch up with her but was prevented from leaving by a crazy norwegian weilding a guitar. Luckily I ran into her 2 days later.... we went out and 5 years later we still haven't come back in again.

Met her through a mutual friend. Thought she was attracted to someone else so I didn't even bother trying, just acted like I would with any friend. About 3 months after that we started talking about our relationship and how we should take it to the next level and we did. It's been 4 years now.

at work. We've been together for a year and a half now. We used to work in different areas, then for awhile, I was her manager, but now we're seperated and it won't be long before I'm laid off.

Crusin down in SoCal back in the 70's. My buddy and I were at a red light next to these two women. We asked if they wanted to go get some lemonaid down the road at this drive in. Well, we got the aid, but no lemons, as in "laid". LOL Both of us ended up marrying those same two women. 😉 Both of us are still married to those same two women. 😀

Yup, since I got married at 19, you'll understand why I never had time to go to college. My son was born when I was 20.

I searched on myspace for people that went to my college and added him as a friend. We found out we were going to school at the same time but never knew each other but had the same set of friends. I graduated and he transfered the following year. Now he is about a 1 1/2 - 2 hour drive away. Seems like fate. We've only been talking for 12 days but its like we've been talking forever. Nothing is official yet but I mean feels good so far :-D

So that's how you met Bubba.

My Bubba?

We were both working at a Boy Scout camp. She had just graduated with an education degree and Boy Scout camp was a perfect summer job before school started in the fall.
I was working there because I was in college.

I met my wife at a wedding. I was friends with the groom and she was a friend of the bride that came down from Montreal for the wedding. We clicked at the reception and I ended up spending about 8 hours with her giving her the quick tour of DC before dropping her off at the airport for her flight back to Montreal. We will be celebrating our 21st anniversary in April.

You met your lover at Boy Scout camp. That's kind of funny.

I joined a Singles Activities Club and she was running one of the events. We met at a bar before a Hockey game (with 30 people or so) and talked afterwards. Started hanging out from there, dating later, engaged and married after that.

I suppose "SO" is a signifigant other meaning a realtionship that lasted a signifigant amount of time.

My first SO I met at a sign up center for the army. (2 years)

My second SO I met at a job. (10 years)

My third SO was met online. (8 years)

My most recent was met in a bar. (4 months, but looks very serious)
