My name is an NPC vendor in World of Warcraft that just sells pie. That's it. Pie.

Motion Man is my fraternity nickname. I got it because I was one of the few people in the chapter (which I started as a freshman) who knew Robert?s Rules of Order, so I was one of the only people who could properly bring motions at meetings.

(At least that?s the explanation my ?brothers? and I tell my wife. That is only half the story. The whole truth would probably violate some sort of rule regarding adult content. ;) )

Ironically, I am a lawyer and spend a great deal of my time dealing with legal motions.

I use MotionMan as a login on all my recreational websites.

I wanted something .... nondescript.

Edit: My first id (DiegoAlcatraz) was a character name from a pen-and-paper RPG I played back in Jr High - "Shadowrun".

I joined thinking I knew quite a bit about computers. I had purchased a motherboard from NewEgg that had the Anandtech # 1 Choice sticker on it. So I came here, and called myself mobobuff. Only to realize that by comparison I had the average knowledge of computers compared to Anandtech. :) (Which, keep in mind, is generally quite high).

If I could choose again, I would pick something different. 'fawkesfire', maybe.

I carried "b0mbrman" over from AOL.

I liked Bomberman as a kid but AOL's terms of service wouldn't allow me to register with the letters B, O, M, and B, in my screen name, so I tossed a zero in there. I took out the e because of limitations on the number of characters you could have.

Yeah, I mostly use the same nickname all over the Internet. It should allow Google to build a nice user profile of me online :p

Same here...I'm making it very easy for a stalker, someday
