Triebs 2 name, that was one of the first games I started playing online, needed to make something up.

edit: now that I think about it, I first used it on AIM, then T2.

I have used this name on pretty much everything for about 7 years. Many friends call me by this name(not the numbers). I have considered legally changing my name to this, but I figured I better not at least until my family is dead so they cant complain about it. I do intend to get it on my license plate when it comes time to renew it though.

back when i first got on AIM, i needed an SN. at the time i was playing starcraft, but "fenixzealot" was too long. fenix was both a zealot and a dragoon (after he's wounded), so i went with fenixgoon.

I got my name after playing the Unreal Tournament games and thinking of a handle for them that went along with the Blue Robot character that I always played with. Well, I instantly thought of 'destroyer' and felt that it was too generic, and felt I should take that name and try and adapt it to how a robot would say it. I also kind of mashed together destroyer and destructor.
Somehow, I came up with 'destrekor', and it stuck.

Tremendous decision on my part. The first letter of my first name and then my last name.

Turned out to be a momentous decision.

My friends use to call me Flash after the 1930's Sci-Fi super hero/rocket jocky because of my driving skills. If you understand that you know what the G stands for. That and I was always real quick.

Created playing Unreal Tournament 1. My 1st name is Doug, and, in high school, people would call me Doug E Fresh, then they abbreviated it to DEF. I needed a nickname for UT, so I just added my initials afterwards... DefDC.

I'd actually get racist comments thrown my way playing UT when I'd win. Even though I was a white guy from Indianapolis. :)
