How much do you score on 3DMark05?

LMAO.....

Ackbar: What kind of card did you use? Also, did you unlock w/ riva tuner, flash, or do something else?

I suppose it's a Gigabyte, that's what he linked in the other forum.

its is true these thing overclock like complete bastages

There's a lot of confusion since there about a million models. The turbocache are NV44 (4 pipes), while the other ones are NV43 (same as 6600 (GT)).

Yes, they do overclock like druggies on crack!

Why don't you post the results online so everybody can believe you instead of running a bootlegged PE version?

Honestly, I only got the scores so I could see how well I compared to others. AlterBridge86 on xtremesystems.org will probably have ORBed scores in the near future, but I don't plan to spend money on 3DMark05 since I just use it to see for myself how I compare against others. It's not important for me to break records or get the highest scores.

I've got a eVGA 128 MB card 6200. I'm using stock cooling (with a dab of AS5) and I unlocked with rivatuner.

It doesn't cost money to use the Orbb function on futuremark. Link please.

Oh really? Awesome! Yah, I have no problem putting up my scores then. Also I found was that you had to register the Pro version. Could someone link me to how to post on the orb?

Simply download the free version, run the test, and everytime they ask you to upgrade, ignore and skip, at the end click on "Online Result Browser" and make a free account, then submit your score.
By the way, the free version doesn't allow you to run the test at anything but 1024x768.

p.s: I thought AlterBridge86 was you, didn't you say that was your system?

I wish! No, I'm "Ackbar" on the xtremesystems.org forum. That guy's computer rocks! Mine is similar although infinitely less awesome.

I went through this whole "Fake Image" thing with you before, and I stand with Ackbar on this one

I did not accuse you of photoshopping your image. Someone else did well before i even posted IIRC.

I believe him, and you shouldn't go around bashing people for things. Who knows, maybe your just jeleous, but quite with the flaming, its getting really old. I don't mind if your posts are helpful, but just as with Rollo, if you have nothing worthy to post, don't post at all.

You are some character aren't you? I haven't flamed anyone. On the contrary, i said i am sorry and that i stand corrected. WHat else did you want me to do to apologize? Again i have not flamed AT ALL in this thread. Do not bring Rollo into this thread, because he posts well more valuable information than you do. You are in no position to be telling me how to post; especially since you illegally returned 2 video cards and lied about a whole slew of things. But we wont get into that, i dont hold grudges, nor will I ever.

For the record i did contribute to this thread however i was proven wrong and promptly apologized.

If Ackbar is having the same problem I am we can't publish our scores. 3dmark03 and 05 both ID the 6200 as "Generic VGA" and therefore will not allow the scores to be published. Apparently this is a known problem and not just for 6200's. Check the futuremark boards.

the picture isn't photochopped. I blew it up in photoshop on a 19" monitor till I could see nothing bu the numbers and there is no photochopping there at all, on eithe r the coolbits or the 3dmark. If this isn't his score then he used another method to dupe 3dmark.

well well - seems we have some non-believers..lol...quite frankly, the 6200 is an amazing card for the price. Its the same core as a 6600(GT) which explains the scalability and the ability to unlock the extra 4 pipes. The pipes can be unlocked via RivaTuner. Ackbar's overclock and his scores are 100% legit. Him and I have been working through 6+ pages on the xtremesystems forum trying to get our cards faster and more powerful. I unfortunately am at a standstill as i'm away from my computer for the next week due to spring break. When i return on monday, march 7th, expect some new 6200 records as i've got a new hsf for the gpu coming. I'm hoping for a 600+ overclock on the core and a 700+ overclock on the memory...as it stands, i've got memory at 695 thanks to a vmem mod. As soon as there is a decent hsf on the gpu, i'm pretty sure the air flow will aid my memory to at least 700. My gpu is currently topping out at 580, frag free, with practically any hsf on it (stock hsf is a piece of metal with a fan strapped to it, it would be a extreme overstatement to call it a 'heatsink'). Basically, if you are looking at buying a 6600, don't do it. If you want a 6600GT however, i'd say go for it. 6600GT comes with ddr3 allowing for MUCH more memory bandwidth as well as SLI-capability. Overall - the 6200 is a great card and its overclocking potential is amazing.

PS
Stay away from the 6200 TC, they suck!! :)

Hey AB, glad you could join us! I wish I had the photochop skillz these guys claim I do! If I could fake images to look that good, that'd be money! I 100% agree about the 6600 GT, we can get to about 6600 GT scores but an overclocked GT would whoop up on us b/c memory bandwidth on our DDR ram is killer! Every MHz I can get out of the ram helps tremendously, I wish someone would make a 6200 with DDR3! Every once in a while a card, CPU, etc comes out that can get some incredible performance since it has so much untapped potential, this card is quite possibly that card...

This reminds me about the threads on the 5900XT. Anyway, this might turn out to be a "low" cost excuse to go to pci-e

I believe it. It looks like the second coming of the Ti4200, in a vaguely similar sort of way. Once overclocked/unlocked, it appears (?) to be offer at least playable frame-rates on current games, for something around $100. On the whole, it sounds like a decent deal to me.
Here's a related question - apparently NV plans to phase out the non-TC 6200s, and replace them with TC models... but that would necessarily have to be the PCI-E models only, right? They haven't made any announcement of a TC-like mechanism for AGP, have they? (Well, I know that AGP already supports that sort of thing, but I'm not sure how well as compared to their new-ish TC technology.) IOW, what I'm trying to ask is - if I purchase a 6200 AGP card, is it and will it always be guaranteed to be an NV43 chipset?

I don't feel that the 6200s are a good buy in any way when you can get Geforce 6600s for $110 and they are guaranteed 8x1 GPUs plus that the 6600s overclock pretty good too......At least when you are considering PCI-E.
