How come my DSL cuts off when i use my phone?!

Wild shot, try getting a filter for the phone you're trying to use???

glad i jumped on dsl back in the day, when installation was done professionally and they ran a line directly to your computer. no filters necessary =]

They had to install an entirely new line in the box outside my house, then rewire my phone jacks for my DSL. Old-school GTE/Verizon..
