I like these people who drink energy drinks and expect to feel like Popeye or something and just have a rush letting them lift a car. A couple friends are like that too, so stupid. It's caffeine man, not horse steroids.
I agree with some here, I guarantee you you don't sleep at all if you drink a couple before bed. I have a strict lunch o'clock cut off, otherwise I get the jimmy-legs until way past midnight.

Stimulants except ephedrine have a different effect on everyone. People with adhd can take adderall and it makes them sleepy while someone without adhd can take it and speed up. I have a sleeping disorder that is very similar to the girl in the news they called sleeping beauty. I can sleep for 30 hours without medication. It started as a mild case of daytime sleepiness and got worse. I now take over two times the daily adult dosage of amphetamines combined with another drug called provigil. I even had to go through a long process of relieving my physician of all malpractice because the amphetamine dosage I take could kill someone else. For me I take it, my pulse doesn't increase but about 5 beats, its like candy to my brain.

I am the same. I drink coffee and it relaxes me. I drink energy drinks and I pass out. I get super drunk and never get hungover and in fact usually wake up even earlier when I drink heavy.

I have ADHD so I think a lot of these things have a reverse affect.

I have literally drank a half pot of freshly brewed starbucks house blend and fallen asleep a half hour later. Caffeine just affects people differently. I have known people that have a single pepsi and start acting wired. When I was younger, novacaine didn't seem to work and I would have to get twice the amount of injections before I felt the numbness. I also used to have an extreme tolerance to hot foods, able to chomp down a jalepeno or a habenero no problem straight up.
