DVDs look way better on the computer then on the TV... How many inch TV do you have?

Are you using a CRT monitor?
If so, turn the resolution down to 640x480, and it should look as good as a TV.
But a TV will look better because it doesn't upscale the video, which causes artifacts and blurriness, and it has much better contrast.
You are using crappy software. DVD's can be upscaled up to 1080i and look pretty crisp at over 6' wide using a projector.Originally posted by: Heen05
reason? seems so much more pixelated.

The awful Nvidia DVD software that came with my 6800 is a joke. I couldn't figure out why DVDs that looked great on my old PC looked really bad on the new one. I had a copy of Win DVD that came with my Mobo, and it solved the problem. The Nvidea DVD player software is the worst I have ever tried!
One word- Blurry!

PC's are generally regarded one of the best ways to view a dvd and can achieve as good results as a $1000 dvd player. To get this quality you gotta do a bit of reading and experimenting.
