How civil is ATOT compared to other forums?

I don't visit many forums, and after half a year in the WoW forums this place looks pretty civilized.

It's the lack of pictures that makes it civil. If ATOT had custom avatars and people could embed pics, the place would become a disaster.

Exactly. Some have complained about that, but I consider the lack of pictures a feature.

It just looks like things are civil because most of the kiddies here lack the intelligence to write a proper flame.

Very civil. You've got to branch off to another forum if you crave a wee bit less civility :p

Terrible. ATOT is made up of dung flinging apes. I despise all of you...and I wouldn't want it any other way. :D

Really, it's not too bad. sometimes folks get a bit heated, but the mods usually turn on the firehose to cool things off.

mildly civil.

we have some stern moderators... not so stern that they're total nazis and anything almost resembling a conflict is locked/banned but not so lax that things get totally out of control.

I regularly visit another forum, and ATOT looks godly compared to there. The other forum has a very good sense of close community, about 30 OT regulars. Problem is, most are teens. While most there are relatively sufficient at communication (no messages like "HI I NEED HALP GFX WRUAKING!!!11"), hormones sort of get in the way of having a civil community like ATOT.
