How can men wear beards?

I didn't feel like shaving so I let my beard grow for four days.

It felt awful so I just shaved it off. Plus, I'm half-Italian and I looked like a terrorist.

I've worn one for 5 years and mine grows pretty thick. I cant imagine not having one.

When I was on vacation, I didn't shave for 2 weeks cause I was lazy. My face started scratching like crazy, but after a while I got used to it

Yeah, I only have peach fuzz, and that gets annoying after a while! It takes me like a week or 10 days to acquire noticeable stubble, but it gets annoying long before then. When I'm bored I tend to pluck my chin whiskers 🙂

After it gets to a decent length (ie not stubble) it doesn't really itch anymore. Warmer too supposedly. I was thinking about a beard but the fact I look Arab (I'm a Sephardic Jew) , am 6'2" (stand out in crowds?) and the four times I've been to the airport since 9/11 I've been pulled aside by security each time with my bag examined and sniffed for bombs twice. Thats me shaving the day of the flight so I don't look too much like Osama 🙂

Full beard here for 24 years.....I'm afraid to shave as I might shoot the intruder....😕

i consider em dirt traps😛 hair traps dirt/oil/odor 🙂 couldn't grow one anyways.. i can't even stand stubble cuz i pick at it until it bleeds🙂

I've had a beard off and on for about 20 years.

Once it get's past the stubble stage it's not itchy at all.

I just shaved it off awhile back (Too much Grey in there to attract the younger women!!) 😉

Now I just have the Goatee. (though the grey is moving in there now as well)

Yeah shaving sucks, I've had a beard for about 10 years. The wife loves it, but its getting pretty grey and I use to shave it off in the heat of the summer.

I just keep huge mutton chops to keep the amount I need to shave minimal.
