How did you remove the original faucet in the first place?

Liquid $5
Plunger $10
Snake $20
Plumber $75/hr

A plumber wont care about the caulk or what you are doing with your nuts, but he will take his big snake out and stick it in really far until any blockages are removed.

He might also use a small camera to go in and get a closer look at the plumbing.

Never put drain opener in the toilet. It only goes down sink/tub drains.

Why, do you ask? Because now you get to plunge the toilet when it's full of REALLY toxic, caustic chemicals. That's stupid and dangerous.

You don't want to burn off your nuts, do you?

What about burning your caulk off?

Plunger, or if it is really bad, pipe snake. Both can be purchased relatively cheaply at home depot or another hardware store.

yea now you risk injury or paying danger pay for plumber. toilet is not a drain, the liquid plumber doesn't even go anywhere near where it needs to
to unclog they need to use a snake or plunger, and to remove the toxic plumber stuff manually ...pretty awful. wear eye protection. you can't plunge a bowl filled with a toxic stew

Can't be any worse than after a night of burritos and beer.
