Holy sh!t -- that is EXACTLY what happened to me a few years ago!!!! A very LARGE (but young) boy crawled under the toilet stall at the movie theater. He did not manage to choke me though, because I kicked him in the face and then screeched so loud that people came running into the bathroom. His mother was near the snack concession and looked horrified, as if she was somehow expecting this kind of trouble.

He must've been a very large 13 y/o to intimidate a grown woman. He would have been picking up teeth with broken fingers had I been there.

I was sitting on the toilet and a hand grabbed by bare thigh and I saw a guy's head poke up from the stall on my right. I was so amped up (if you are a woman who has been sexually attacked you will know exactly what I mean) after I kicked his head I tried to beat down the door of the stall he was in while screeching as loudly as possible. When the first "rescuers" came in all they saw was me throwing my shoulder into the door and screaming "eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeiiiiiiiiiiiAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAhhhhhhh!!!!!!" At the time, i thought it was an adult man, but when he came out it was a guy around 12-13 who was VERY big (approx. 5'7" and at least 190 lbs). Two bigger guys from the theater intercepted him at the bathroom door and his mom was there panicking and saying "what are you doing to my son!?" like I had dragged him into the bathroom and assaulted him :disgust:

The really sad thing is, this kid is really young and already doing some nasty crap. There's no way he will be locked up and he is large enough (not to mention bold!) to do some real damage :( Actually some of the worst offenders are 98 pound weaklings.

Why punish the kid? How about because he's a danger to society: He has shown a complete willingness to sexually assault others, and shown a propensity towards violence. Either he does not know that this is wrong or he knows and does not care. In either case, he needs to be punished to be shown that this is not behavior that is acceptable in society. A psych eval seems to be a pansy-ass means of taking care of the situation. It doesn't matter to me whether he has some kind of chemical imbalance, was abused by his parents, or was just born evil. I don't care; punish him and keep him away from society. Period.

Lock him up in an institution somewhere, away from everyone else, and let some flaky shrink there try to understand him.

It's not like the kid was in the classroom simply sneaking a peek up the skirt of the girl that sits behind him. He is committing full blown sexual assault.

There are some cases where people (kids included) simply go too far to get the benefit of "normal measures" when dealing with them.

This seems to be one of those cases. I think it is very easy to figure out why the kid is like this. There can only be 2 reasons: He's either mentally ill, or his parents suck. Period.

Either way, if he goes through therapy and is pronounced fit for society..........would YOU live next to him?

That's exactly why 'therapy' should focus more on the cause of the problem(s), and not immediately start with a treatment which is supposed to work according to some 'experts'.

Behaviour is influenced by countless factors in the brain, some of which are genetically determined. Find the problem and develop a treatment, unless a treatment or a full recovery is impossible. In that case the person won't be allowed to take its place in society again, but will remain subject of research.
