I can't get too frustrated. Lots of game left and the offense is looking better. Defense needs to keep making stops

As a former Jets fan gradually converting to an Eagles fan, do not get excited about Mark Sanchez.

Oh, I'm not. I've just been frustrated with, imho, Foles continued ineptitude holding the offense below its potential. Really, all Sanchez has to do is NOT MAKE KILLER MISTAKES and they'll be fine.

Do they use Sproles in short yardage situations at all? Obviously he's not a traditional bruiser, but he's just so damn elusive.

They have, and he's a tough runner, but, when you're packed in right near the goal line, there's little place to be elusive, and size matters. Polk has it. As a trio, they could really be something, especially when most of the 'O' line gets and stays healthy.

conference teams first in thier division always play each other the next year
Well this year it was just the AFC division Denver plays, but what he means is that 3 years in a row Denver doesn't get them at home. We know why they're scheduled, it's just that whatever decides home field advantage hasn't worked out for Denver.

That has to be the sickest catch's Gronk has ever made and he's made a ton of insane one's, ball completely being him and he just grabs it with one mitt and hauls it in, nuts..

Yep. I made a earlier post on this as well. Scheduling sucks.

The Pat's always get their hardest games at home

Scary that NE has a good secondary. It's been so long.

What I can't get my mind around is that Patrick Chung starts at safety for them. He was absolutely terrible for the Eagles last year, the worst guy in a bad secondary. 🙁

There was talk that he was going to be cut before the season started then was only going to be used for running downs as NE keeps 4 safeties. So, yes it's scary to see him in pass coverage but he's been good today.

Well there goes yet another knee.

Seeing this game makes me feel better as a Bears fan, even if ever so slightly. I guess NE can do it to anybody.

I still don't have any idea how they determine which team gets to travel, I know NE went through a stretch were we had to go to Denver several years in a row, someone needs to dig up how the NFL determines who gets to play at home and who does not.

Take away the Welker "gift" turnover and the punt return for a TD and you've got a different ballgame. Playing from behind NE didn't have to keep safety's around the LOS very much for run support.

He was drafted in the 1st round by the Pat's but didn't live up to the hype, he kept trying to deliver massive hits and wound up injured himself more often than not, maybe some time in the league has helped him mature a bit.

Here I was bitching about getting Oakland @ Seattle and it turned out to be by far the more interesting game, at least in terms of being close; it was sloppy as hell. But at least it wasn't a blowout after 20 minutes.

I looked into how many times Denver and New England played in each stadium. Over the last 12 meetings including today it has been even at 6 and 6.

Welcome to Earth, Cowboys fans. Time for some reality check.

Would that be funny if Cowboys end up with 8-8 again and miss the playoff? 😀 We will see.

Has NFL popularity peaked on ATOT (and possibly R.O.W.)? So few comments this week.

I blame Rudeguy's uninspired thread title. 😀

He played safety for the Eagles? I thought he played turnstile for the Eagles. Actually I take that back, a friggin turnstile woulda at least slowed down the opposing players.

Some thoughts from today.

Niners - WTF was that at the end? For a team with SB aspirations, they're stinking it up. I've said it before, I'm not a fan of Kaepernick but this loss is not on him. Terrible play calling at the end. Imitation is the best form of flattery so maybe Harbaugh was trying out what he learned from Chip Kelley in the Eagles vs Niners game...

Eagles - The defense has it's moments but then gives up a huge play. Butt Fumble in...and as much as I'm worried, I think the offense may click better with Sanchez in.

Jets - Wow...I feel for their fans...

San Diego - How come no power? Maybe because Charger doesn't work.

Denver - And it is proved once again, Tom Brady is kryptonite for Peyton Manning.

Washington - RG3 looked rusty. Not that I want Washington to do well but from a neutral "just a fan" standpoint, he's on the borderline of being called a freak athlete who is injury prone.

Dallas - Dare we hope for Romo to miss a few more games and Dallas goes 8-8 for another year? 😛

12 TD passes in 2 games, it all makes sense now, Ben's been eating his spinach:
