How bad (content wise) is Grand Theft Auto 3?

btw i never played gta3. I never owned a ps2 either. Doesn't seem special to me. Kinda repetitive and boring (glitchy) looking imo.

I have played True Crime LA which was 'ok' the funny story made up for it though.

i brought it up in the OT cypress hill thread but, apparently, cypress hill fans are to busy smoking to play video games.

i haven't played gta3 but true crime la had a pretty good hand-to-hand fighting system with some funny finishing moves!

I had mentioned it last week earlier on in this post. That was vulgar for the day. And even tho the vulgarity is not as frequent as in GTA:SA, the level of vulgarity was higher in Kingpin. They used the "C" word. hehe. 🙂

Ugh.... I played it and gave it a fair chance.
I wasn't offended by the cursing but... I though the cut scenes were corny and the story SUCKED! But that's my personal opinion, I didn't even like most of the gameplay, I thought it was very annoying having to control the camera angle with the mouse while driving. I don't understand why everyone thought this game was so great.
I think I prefer GTA clones over the real thing, the only one I can say I really enjoyed was just the first city in Grand Theft Auto 2. GTA 4 looks cool though, maybe I'll like that.

It's more fun to play with a joy pad, even on PC.
