No need to buy one at launch. Remember all the bad ones from the ps2 launch? Also, theres not going to be very many good games out at launch, albeit there will be a few, but nothing worth spending $650 + price of games $60/70?? When you can get the ps3 in just a few yrs for around $200-300 and the launch games will around $20-30. Save your hard earned money! Or, take your money and put it down on a 360 w/ some games. ^_^ Thats what i done.

well for me its easy.
1) the price. i just do not feel the PS3 is worht it. i do not want or need a blueray player
2) the wii has something new. i am willing to risk $250 on the nintendo. if it sucks? yeah i will be pissed but not to bad. not willing to risk $600
3) sick of Sony (though that plays a small small part)


i just do not feel the PS3 is worht the price. When it drops a lot i might think about it. but now? nope. i can buy a Xbox 360 and a wii for about the same.
