lol
My pet peeve with people who are not computer literate is when I tell them they need more memory and they tell me it has 300GB and then having to explain the difference between hard drive storage and RAM , then realizing the person still doesn't know what I am talking about.

To be fair, that's a bit higher level than knowing that bigass hole in your laptop is for a battery or that deleting your email account will delete all the messages associated with it. The latter two are practically common sense while HDD vs. RAM isn't.

Son... there is a era in this world's history when some people thought that pushing the wrong button on a computer would cause it to explode.....

Being proud about being computer illiterate is like being proud that you can't screw in a lightbulb. Why am I not surprised that this dummy is a lawyer.
I don't know how bad it is in Canada, but here the culture favors the celebration of ignorance. Knowing things is elitism, and means you're an asshole. For example, TV shows commonly portray scientists as aloof pricks who view humans as disposable things, as valuable as an ant that's biting your ass. That, or else they're portrayed as having the common sense of a puppy with brain damage.

I would say that is why people hate lawyers, but most lawyers actually ARE assholes.
