I tried to capture one but they bite 🙁

How does the process of being press fit work? I've been trying to pickup some metal working knowledge, but don't know where to start.

Actually it's just basic knowledge.

Friction, or the lack of it due to such close tolerances.

The empty hole and the bearing are the same size.

press the bearing into the hole and it stays.

the inner core of the bearing then spins on the enclosed balls, while the outer race stays tight in the material.
