I'm glad this thread came back around. Its important for the shorts to be constantly reminded how much better we are than they are

What size shoe do you wear?
LOL.

Good thing no one here knows me in real life, except my brother, cause then I'd have to endure nonstop mocking after I tell you. I wear size 7.5 now and that's in NO way too big; I'd probably have to go down to 7 if a shoe ran a little big. I used to wear 8 and they weren't too big at all. I kinda think I used to wear f'ing 9 but maybe I'm mistaken (my memory is useless).

I think some people wear shoes that are too big because they're insecure about their foot size. Just within the past week I saw a picture on Facebook of my cousin's boyfriend and Jesus, the fucker looks like he's wearing clown shoes. C'mon dude, accept the fact that your actual shoe size isn't 13 and deal with it, lol. I'm proud of my manlet status. *flexes* (with weak tiny biceps)

5'11 works. I can reach most stuff and not bump my head. Seats in planes have been a problem but not because of if vertical height. One shoulder in the other passenger seat and the other in the aisle has not been fun.

It's not necessary, every day the shorts are reminded of how little we think of them. It's like having your hair on fire 24/7. No matter what else is happening in the world, you can't really forget your plight.

5'10" and never wanted to be taller. Being so handsome, never had an issue with the ladies. Found plenty of attractive women from 5'2" to 5'8". Easy to find clothes that fit, can handle coach in planes, fit in beds, etc...

Wouldn't want to be shorter though. But wouldn't want to be more than an inch taller either. Put that in a poll and smoke it.

yes, being tall rules.

my GF is 5'8" which is fairly tall for a woman.

I do have an exGF that is 5'11".

I'm 6' 4", tallest girl I every dated was 6'6". Weirdest thing was to tilt my head up slightly to kiss her. Prob no big surprise but she was Swedish.

The only problem I have with those outside the range of normal are those with "short man syndrome" and those men who have the alpha thing going on and try to use height to intimidate people. I've seen it happen and that IMO is just stupid pack animal social skills. Honestly, I don't notice how tall people are unless they are very thin which adds to it.

I am 5' 8" as well. I wear an 11 1/2 shoe.

That seems almost acceptable

 How many time a day do you fall over?

Size 13 seems a little odd to be insecure about. Is he also compensating for being short?

I'm like around a 9ish as far as shoes go. At 5'6" I think that's more or less proportionate. Never really bothered me being short. Some people see it as a negative, but I rather be short than have some kind of chronic health issue that actually affects me.

I have no idea what my real shoe size is. I can fit in anything from 11-12 depending on the cut. If I were to choose without trying on first, I'd get 12. Better too big than too small.

LOL. Dude, I gotta admit though, my balance is f'ing terrible. Like standing on one foot undressing, it's almost impossible. I gotta make sure there's something to lean on otherwise I'd eat shit. But I thought I used to have half decent balance, I used to skateboard and snowboard and was pretty good at it, especially the latter. Maybe it's just part of getting old. FML

I mean he's insecure about his REAL shoe size, which is way less than 13. So he buys big shoes and they look like clown shoes to me. But who knows. His shoes look way too big and so I made this "insecure" thing up. Tee hee

I'm 6'2-3" and can wear a size 9 shoe lengthwise, but use 10 extra wide/dd/whateveritscalled.

Oh I see. Yeah I wear 13 or 14 depending on the shoes and some of the designs do not scale well. I remember the first time I went shoe shopping with my future wife.
"Here, try these on."
I grab a 14 and take the shoe out
"Wtf is that?"
Thats the shoe you wanted
"Well the colors just look stupid at that size. Wait - no the shoes just look stupid in that size."

I will sometimes stuff her sandals or flats in my shoes to save space when we travel :D

The worst are blankets that are too short so you have to use it diagonally for maximum blanket

At just over 6 feet (correction 6,23) I'm quite average in the Netherlands so most negatives are taken care of (standard bed length is 7 feet nowadays.
Whenever I'm in the US it has it's pro and cons. Navigation in crowds, using overhead bins and such is easy. I usually fly klm and the legspace is adequate. The biggest annoyance is the short beds... oh and the same goes for baths...

Maybe he has a subconscious desire to be a clown?
