It's the long term that is the problem, unless you think inflating the deficits while we are at full employment is a good idea?

No, I don't. But nobody on the left seemed to care about the debt under Obama.

I knew you would say that. He was prez until early 2017 though. The economy had recovered long before that.
You knew I would say that because you knew it was the right thing to do. As the economy began to recover, he started reducing the deficits. He didn't reduce them more drastically because the recovery was still shaky. Even today, the recovery is shaky, which is why the interest rates are being raised very slowly. We should be reducing deficits slowly as well, but instead, the GOP drastically increased them. This is a problem. If the economy falters again, we need to be able to drop interest rates and pump stimulus. The GOP is playing with fire, again.

The only thing that make me change my mind on trump is if he never existed.

It is great news, unfortunately because most of it is due to President Trump and his economic policies the left wing progressive cabal in these forums would rather eat shit and die than agree it's great news. So they'll weep and moan and lie and exaggerate and misdirect and obfuscate the subject until no one wants to wade through the piles of crap to read the topic. Somehow and someway they will think they succeeded.

Are you better off than you were 2 years ago? Most of us (myself included) can say : Yes we are.

Lmao people are saying unemployment is at 45%. Keep drinking that kool-aid.

Unemployed or not working and not looking?

Yeah, the country has a major problem with those who don't have a job, don't want a job and just want someone to blame if they don't get shit handed to them on a silver platter.

The lowered unemployment number does sound good but what about the participation rate (excluding people looking to retire) and what about wage growth? A strong economy should show the participation rate going up and with this low of an unemployment number we should be seeing wages go up as well (like we did in 2016). From what I've seen none of that is happening.
