I haven't followed this story but is there an indication Swalwell knew the woman was a spy? Propaganda Polly did say "Swalwell, OTOH, is another story." in his post. He frequently talk out of his ass so I tend to think most of his comments are based in B.S.

Entertaining series, but highly inaccurate. Russian sleeper agents virtually never did anything beyond feeling out a potential American source for vulnerabilities, then passing off the actual spy work to other operatives. They likely never killed anyone either. Unlike the spies who were classified as foreign diplomats, these sleepers had no immunity so they were used very sparingly.

So far as this case and other cases of foreign spies who have been caught, they generally don't seem to get very far. Then again, maybe they don't catch the ones who are truly successful in obtaining important information.

This is no where related to Russia so stop trying to equate the two.

This is similar to the Anna Chapman story. Changing it because after seeing her picture she's not hot at all. This is closer to Maria Butina. Difference Republicans knew she had ties to the Putin government

What do you think would have happened if it was discovered Mitch McConnel's driver of 20 years was a Russian plant, whether he knew or not? What would have happened if a freshman congress person was discovered to be close to a Russian plant female who also slept with other government officials? Would you dismiss it?

Funny how the people who thought the Trumps meeting with Russian agents to get illegal campaign help was no big deal are very concerned about this.

It’s already starting where conservatives pretend to give a shit about any of this after four years of showing their true colors.

The only necessary answer to any conservative who wasn’t speaking up over the last four years is ‘fuck you’. We know they don’t care about any of this and so we don’t need to indulge them when they pretend to.

If a politician sought out a relationship with Chinese spies I would blame them. Trump had a Chinese spy running around Mar-a-Lago. He was criticized for his sloppy security not for the relationship with the spy.

Trump sought out relationships with Kremlin operatives.

Huge difference

My positions are consistent. They don't change depending on the offender.

You were equating Russia interfering in our election and Trump's relationship with Chinese spies getting close to various politicians.

Each one is a concern but on a different level.
