Sick of all these CS and All your Base and Grammy Award threads... how about a good ol' fashioned car arguement thread again!


by the way, I've decided I think on the color Corvette I'm going to buy...

since I can't have my 1st choice in colors, Millenium Yellow, since I can't quite afford a 2000 or 2001, I'll be looking for that color

All black leather interior

Removeable glass roof panel


will be putting a competition SPL sound system even better than the one in my Firebird... can't wait for this baby

Well, being 19 years old, it should be a pretty penny. Haven't called the my agent yet, but he's a family friend and my father has a lot of money with this guy with his business insurance and our car insurance, life and renters insurance, etc. so he won't kill me too bad

Also that M5 is twice as expensive as the Corvette

Look, I'll admit the M5 performs like a champ, but you gotta admit the exterior looks of the car = YAWN

plus, the pricetag.. :Q :Q

hey, I had the pleasure of sitting in about 15 Corvettes during my weekend trip to Dallas... I'm still having wet dreams about the interior.

one dealer even asked me, after I sat in a Vette for over 15 mintes, just in AWE.. &quot;So Michael my friend.. where has your imagination taken you this afternoon with this beautiful car?&quot; :Q

But it also has twice the refinement. Don't even get me wrong though, for the price that you can get a M5 for, I'd grab a Viper in a heartbeat, without a doubt in my mind. I think that if Dodge can bring the price down to the level of the Vette, they'd have an extremely potent machine for the price. It's just that it doesn't have the refinement and grace that close to 70k calls for, unfortunately. But you gotta admit, having a grandpa keep up with you in your Vette while he drives his M5 is priceless. Then again, a slightly modded Daytona R/T keeping up with that M5 is even more priceless ;) hell the list can go on forever! :)

:D You'd better believe it! I've actually only driven it once - its definetly better than the 740 I'm driving engine-condition wise, but she's a wide load.

Not an M5 vs. Vette comparison again :/ Put a blower on a M5 the Engine will be TOAST!!
Put a blower on a Vette and since it's compression is not taken to it's extreme LIMIT, it gains 40%+ horsepower.
