Listen... Rudy is an old man.
Rudy has been around for a long long time. Rudy WAS credited with cleaning up New York City as mayor, which was a real shit-hole before Rudy stepped in. And THEN, Rudy received high marks for his leadership during 9/11.

So the question for Rudy is.....
Do YOU Rudy Giuliani want to be remembered as the guy who cleaned up NYC and the guy who displayed leadership and hope during 9/11? Or.... do you want to be remember as Donald Trump's puppet? And the puppet with the hair dye problem?
Rudy.... its all up to YOU.
Damn, I was going to link when Rudy said he had "insurance". All the links were him walking it back and saying he was kidding. What magic does Trump have, that makes people grovel?

The chairman of the Republican Party in Georgia on Friday told the House select committee investigating the January 6 riot that the Trump campaign had directed the party in 2020 to put forward an alternate slate of electors after then-President Donald Trump lost the state's vote, according to a person familiar with the testimony.

yeahhhhh it was totally coincidence that multiple fake letters were received by the national archives...

i'd love to see trump poor and desperate. don't jail him - make him the very thing he despises. sadly, i doubt that will happen.

Donny and Vlad both have a thing for Georgia. So, send them there. South Georgia. They can co-rule over the Penguins.

"I have run down every legal trail placed before me to its conclusion, and I respectfully conclude that as a legal framework, it is a results-oriented position that you would never support if attempted by the opposition, and essentially entirely made up," Jacob wrote Eastman. "And thanks to your bullshit, we are now under siege."

"The advice provided has, whether intended or not, functioned as a serpent in the ear of the President of the United States, the most powerful office in the entire world. And here we are."

"Respectfully, it was gravely, gravely irresponsible for you to entice the President with an academic theory that had no legal viability, and that you well know we would lose before any judge who heard and decided the case. And if the courts declined to hear it, I suppose it could only be decided in the streets. The knowing amplification of that theory through numerous surrogates, whipping large numbers of people into a frenzy over something with no chance of ever attaining legal force through actual process of law, has led us to where we are."

Wait…WTF??? A Danish camera crew was embedded with Roger Stone for much of 2020 (while filming a documentary) and even recorded all of his actions during and after January 6????

As a mob ransacked the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, Roger Stone, Donald Trump’s longest-serving political adviser, hurried to pack a suitcase inside his elegant suite on the fifth floor of the Willard hotel. He wrapped his tailored suits in trash bags, reversed his black face mask so its “Free Roger Stone” logo was hidden, then slipped out of town for a hastily arranged private flight from Dulles International Airport.

“I really want to get out of here,” Stone told an aide, as they were filmed at the hotel by a Danish camera crew for a documentary on the veteran Republican operative. Stone said he feared prosecution by the incoming attorney general, Merrick Garland. “He is not a friend,” Stone said.

Stone moved quickly after Trump’s defeat to help mobilize the protest movement that drew thousands to the nation’s capital on Jan. 6, 2021, The Post found. He privately strategized with former national security adviser Michael Flynn and rally organizer Ali Alexander, who visited Stone’s home in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., in late November 2020 for a dinner where Stone served pasta and martinis.

A few hours before the Jan. 6 attack, the video shows, a member of the far-right Oath Keepers group — who has since pleaded guilty to seditious conspiracy — was in Stone’s suite at the Willard. Other rooms in the same hotel were used as a “command center” by Trump’s personal lawyer Rudolph W. Giuliani and other advisers involved in the fractious battle to overturn the election. Stone was not part of their effort, the footage indicates, and he said he feared that top organizers were trying to exclude him from the rally.

WTF??? He even sent encrypted Signal messages to Oath Keepers and Proud Boys leaders WHILE HIS PHONE SCREEN WAS ON CAMERA??????

Everything Seth Abramson has been talking about for 14 months was documented on video. And the Committee has it and turned it over to Justice.

Barr's take on what led to his resignation:

What really grinds my gears is that leftist socialist liberal scum Lester Holt never bothered to ask Barr why he lied to the American people about what the Mueller report said. So now Holt and CNN and everyone involved with this farce can fuck right off AFAIC.

It's not hard to guess what his answer would be - he would claim he didn't lie about it. Sadly this is true. His statement was wildly misleading and purposefully so but it doesn't actually contain any false statements.

Stephen Miller is suing the House 1/6 committee because he said their subpoena of his phone plan would mean they would also be subpoenaing his parents’ phone records because they supply him with his phone.

Wtf?! ... Using this logic, if I move back in with my mother, I can hide all sorts of evidence in her house, and even with a warrant, the cops can’t search the place, because it would require them to search all her stuff, too. It actually suggests that people with shared phone plans can’t have those records subpoenaed because other people are involved. If the phone company can’t separate the calls, then his parents shouldn’t have chosen to share their phone plan with an idiot and a criminal.

Great Plan!

It would be funnier if his parents are charged with accessory if he gets convicted

Its all about the delay. Trump uses the legal system to delay the inevitable all the time. If they delay, then it might go away. Or, postpone until things change like when Trump is president again.
Sadly, the law works both ways and can be abused, a lot....

I think it's quite possible by looking at the phone numbers on the family bill, to be able to sort out just Goebbel's phone #. They are just looking at meta data.

Former telecom guy here.
I cannot imagine any carrier or virtual carrier NOT being able to sort one particular phones activity from another which is on the same account.
Also the claim is ridiculous. Yes the committee should keep Mom & Dads record protected from public view. They obviously should have access to them or every person in Gov will suddenly have a family plan with Mom & Dad.

Any bets on the bill being in His name vs Mom or Dad?

Well I'm glad Pence had enough integrity in him to stand up for a Constitutional transition of power.
Oh, as the changes from the standard script show, Pence did everything he could to encourage and support lawmakers to object and overturn the election - Pence just wasn't willing to put his own neck on the line to single handedly overthrow the constitution.
Edit: Ok, I misunderstood, I really should read article fully before commenting. Asking for "any objections" on the surface seems to be calling for such objections, but in this case making sure to exactly follow the "shall" language of the relevant electoral Act makes sense when trying to make sure others can't later try to overturn it on a technicality.
