Roger Stone. Dumbest of the dumbest criminals. Thank god.
18 months in FPMITAP with Bannon and everyone else. Let's GO!
Sets up an interesting precedent, if Dems subpoena a member of Congress what happens when the Pubs take back the House...endless repub investigations with bogus subpoenas?
We've already done that.Sets up an interesting precedent, if Dems subpoena a member of Congress what happens when the Pubs take back the House...endless repub investigations with bogus subpoenas?

Man has been getting away with political dirty tricks since before Nixon. He's crazy like a fox. He may yet get his due, or become leader of the new SS.Man, look at that smorgasbord of tells. Trying to act tough probably goes over better when you aren't acting scared shitless.

Trump asks Supreme Court to block release of Jan. 6 records
Former President Donald Trump has turned to the Supreme Court in a last-ditch effort to keep documents away from the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 insurrection at the Capitol.apnews.com
I'm assuming this depends on what Roberts wants to do?
As I understand ... A temporary stay could be granted unilaterally by the justice who receives the emergency application, which in this case is Chief Justice Roberts, but in order for the Supreme Court to take up the case, it will require the approval of at least four of the justices.
Is this correct?
If so ... I fear that the justices, being conflicted as to how to handle this, will just slow-walk it for a long time, helping Trump run out the clock – perhaps deliberately. And then the slow walk to November 2022.
Trump Spokesman Taylor Budowich Sues to Block 1/6 Committee From His Financial Records
"To add to the absurdity neither the committee, nor JP Morgan Chase will provide me with a copy of the actual contents of the subpoena," Taylor Budowich said.
THIS should absolutely be required in almost every case. You want someone's information, you MUST provide them with this kind of document, fully unredacted.
Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this type of document served to the person at the same time the subpoena is being executed?Trump Spokesman Taylor Budowich Sues to Block 1/6 Committee From His Financial Records

Now some of the same people that are all for no knock warrants think that rich people should be given advanced warning of what documents will be subpoenaed.Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this type of document served to the person at the same time the subpoena is being executed?
How to you think it would work if a letter were sent, "we are investigating a crime and looking for the following... We will arrive in a few days to execute"

As the DOJ goes la, la, la ,la with their hands over their ears.As Hall and Oates would sing "Say it isnt so". Trump's argument against Jan. 6th committee to Supreme Court. "They are seeking evidence of criminal activity".
