This movie is kinda weird in a way... I like it how it compares american values vs other country values (iranian)

Sooo which side do you appeal to the most? Personally I hated jennifer connely's character, god everything is started by and caused by her..

yep ben kingsley was amazing in this movie! I can totally relate to his character having to tough it up after losing so much. The part that touched me the most is when he killed his wife and himself after his son is dead.

good story, good acting. "good" movie.

that said, I didn't like it too much personally. Pace was a lil too slow for me, I was actually dozing off a bit.
 
Sir Ben Kingsley is teh win!

of course, I havent seen it yet, i was tempted to pick it up when I got Big Fish yesterday, but it was $19! forget that! I like my dvd's discounted!
 
probably one of the more depressing movies ive seen, but it was good, very good in fact, just not the kind of movie you want to watch when trying to have fun with a bunch of friends, which is what i did...
 
Yeeps - I watched this movie last night and it was had a more horrific downward spiral than Very Bad Things and without the humor!

I think if Jennifer Connoley wasn't so damn hot, you would absolutely hate her character. She is a lazy good for nothing drunk of a slut. Nevertheless, she is so damn hot!

It was a fabulous movie though. My only beef with it (if you can call it that) was then ending when his wife is going to sleep. Did she know about the son and accept that it was the next step or did she just have some tea? :Q

I think he did that to his wife because he knew it would be too much for her to take.
 
Kingsley was awesome.

A very depressing movie. I wish he would have killed that worthless POS Connelly before the end
