I like House, but I agree that it's way too formulaic. It's getting to the point where it seem that all of the characters simply serve as targets and launching pads for House.

5 minutes in: someone gets crazy sick
10 minutes in: someone has to convince House that it's an interesting case
15 minutes in: House takes case; person arrives and House determines that it's really just a basic case with simple diagnosis
20 minutes in: person is about to be discharged and then their head/heart/genitals spontaneously explode/ooze/swell/shrink/etc.
21 minutes in: House decides he was wrong
22 - 45 minutes in: person is violated physically and mentally as House ignores every law and ethical standard established in medicine while trying to correctly diagnose person
50 minutes in: House is picking out toejam and has an epiphany
60 minutes in: person is cured, goes home, and House reflects on a seemingly valuable lesson that he learned about human life

YOu forgot some important things ... namely

They blame it on cancer and call in wilson, hilarity insues as wilson and house interact or Cameron blames it on lupus, which it never is. Foreman mentions drugs, house makes a slightly racist drug reference. Chase has some sort of god/father issue.

I dont care if they seem to follow a trend... there are always a few zingers and awesome twists. The interactions between the cast are amazing. The show is freaking hilarious. Wilson is the man.

****** ... i forgot the most important thing you left out... house has to accuse everyone of lieing ... because everyone lies... Then at the end ... you find out they lied.

LMAO

It's funny because it's so true!

As for Cuddy, I'd hit that sh*t to the moon.

The first day of my MCAT class, we ended up getting into a discussion in the entire class over who was hotter, Cuddy or Cameron. I definetly stuck with Cuddy... She is a fox

I don't get why anyone would watch Scrubs with today's great shows.

That said, 24 > Grey's Anatomy >>> *
Grey's Anatomy is too melodramatic. Izzy pisses me off

If anyone reads Sherlock Holmes, House was based off him. And Wilson is suppose to represent Dr. Watson.

I think House would be much more interesting if I had a medical degree, then I could follow along somewhat and make educated guesses on the illness as the show progresses and more evidence is brought up

People watch Scrubs because it's better than 24, Grey's Anatomy, or House.

Love watching House! If you're not watching it for the medical situations, then at least the character interactions they're freaking hilarious. Love House's witty and offensive comments.

They could do an episode where Jennifer Morrison recited the phone book for an hour and I'd still watch. Mmmmm.

I like House as well, but only watch it occassionally. After watching 3 or 4 episodes, you quickly grow tired of the medical talk, and the fact that in every episode, they misdiagnose the illness up until the last 5 minutes of the show when it just "hits" them.
Yeah, I hate that.

"Oh, she has X, so we'll do Y and that will fix it."
<insert cynical banter>
"Oops, I only spent 3.67 seconds looking at her chart and its not X, its T. Z will fix that."
<insert cynical banter>
"Oh dear, she's going to die. Well duh, its A!!! Give her B+C anally and she's a winner."
<insert cynical banter>

That said I enjoy the show if there's nothing else on.

Scrubs is slipping, but Old Skool Scrubs rules all of you. Grey's Anatomy is a better show than House, but IMO all three are different.

House is a medical comedy. Grey's Anatomy is mostly a medical drama. Scrubs is more of a medical sitcom, less medical than House.

haha... she's not all that hot in the grand scheme of things, but she and Cuddy are still nice to look at.

Cameron was hot that day that she was hung over, but other than that, she doesn't do much for me.
must find the episode...

Love Greys, too...think the 2 hour (3, I suppose, if you consider they bumped Oprah's 'Legend's Ball'....oh darn, to show Sunday's episode again on Monday) was good for the most part. Heard they're moving it to Thursday, too...messes up my Sunday..I enjoyed watching Sopranos, and then Greys.

Especially when House is scrubbing a spot on her ass to give her a shot. 😉

Yeah, I actually think all of them are pretty decent and I'll watch any of them. I just give Scrubs preference because of the absurdity of it all.

I noticed that in the first season, Cameron was wearing lots of low-cut tops. Now, it seems like they've shifted those tops to Cuddy

In the first season, Cameron was also going after House.

And recently we learned Cuddy is single. 😀

My fiance and I love House. He's not a huge fan of a lot of shows on tv, but he likes that one.

I like that he shows I'm not the only Vicodin-poppin' person around. 😉 lol I also think he wants Cuddy to ask him to be her sperm donor. Did you all catch it when he was rubbing the alcohol on her ass? He was a little too into it. lol
