Your lie about what the founders wanted to do with the west is refuted. Just because it didn't include the Louisiana purchase doesn't mean the Constitution didn't cover future expansion.

Kinda-sorta. Most cattle are born & raised on open grasslands then rounded up, sold & shipped to feedlots as you picture for fattening up prior to slaughter.
Open grasslands in the humid midwest or on irrigated pasture lands in the west for the most part. Dry land public lands ranching contributes very little to the overall beef supply. The forage just isn't there to support large herds.
