Dude, tell that Gupta basic doors at home depot only run like $200-300 at the lower tier. He's too cheap to pay up?

you apparently dont know many Guptas, do you? six of them will sleep on one mattress, even if they could afford ten.

I thought the OP was a baller.

yea this thread has me confused. OP has bragged on many occasions about how much money he makes yet he cannot afford to own a house or let alone live in a house with a decent front door? :hmm:

I'm in the process of getting a permit to build a house. I'd love to tell you guys all the details of my life but I don't want to bore you all to death.

ok, understandable. but why rent such a shitty house?

I didn't really want to go above $3200.

It's a decent house in a good neighborhood. LA is just one of those places where you have 3 blocks of million dollar homes, then the next block is the freakin barrio. I knew the landlord was a cheap ass and I didn't know the door was crap until of course we got broken into.

I'm pretty late in the game in the permit process and we've settled in for 2 years so I really would rather not move until the house is finished. If the permit process falls through then I would probably wait until the market falls a bit more then buy a house.

Granny needs a gun or, at the least, some bear mace.

How did he patch the panel? Screw some plywood over the hole?

That’s because the OP is full of BS and contradicts himself all the time. Guess I just caught it faster than others. See sig for one of his more affluent gaffes.
