And the higher mortality rate of an "immature" female when her body, while able to produce fertalizable eggs, is not able to carry the baby to term. We're different animals because of the size of our heads at birth are very large in porportion to the size of the mothers pelvis. Pelvis too small? Bye bye baby and 14 year old mom.
Most of the time, a woman who has started her menstrual cycle is a prime candidate for childbearing. That's how it is done in a number of countries... sometimes whether the woman wants it or not.
What isn't there to like about that picture? Sure, it's an awkward pose... But it shows off her features nicely, which is the point.
She has a great stomach, and a pretty face. Shrug.
