I don't know why but alot of males seem to be attracted to younger (15 or 16 yo) females. Could someone explain this to me? Is it an instincts/best mate type thing? Does youth offer strength and longevity? Perhaps something to do with having children? What is it that make someone who is younger more attractive than someone who is older?

Young women are fertile. The older a woman gets, the less likely she is to be able to successfully rear a child.
Youth is tied very strongly to what men find attractive about women since women are only able to rear young for a shorter period of time then men. So it stands to reason we'd be drawn to women at any point that they were in that window.
It's really only society that has set up such strict rules.
As far as nature is concerned, a woman is ready when she starts her cycle - typically between 10 - 14.
Almost all other animals experience intercourse as soon as they are physically ready. Such as it used to be for humans too(and still is, in some places........), before society got involved and fscked it all up.

If you guys wanna talk nature think about the risk of child birth. And the higher mortality rate of an "immature" female when her body, while able to produce fertalizable eggs, is not able to carry the baby to term. We're different animals because of the size of our heads at birth are very large in porportion to the size of the mothers pelvis. Pelvis too small? Bye bye baby and 14 year old mom.
