Nothing wrong with this store not accepting credit card on a high dollar item since they deal with mostly groceries.
Look at it this way: I guess they have to pay 1.5% of the sale to the credit card company to accept a credit card.
So on a $100 grocery order, it's only $1.50 but when you're dealing with $1000 item, it's $15
Now, all the other places that accept cards have that figured into the price but since Aldi's probably doesn't sell many $1000 items, it makes sense for them to only accept cash on a high priced item such as this.
But then again, it also makes sense to just add $15 to the price tag......
Maybe this is to reduce fraud?
