Is any1 else having trouble activating the watch? After i put in the cap code it says error; email or call skytell. Is callign and telling them it doesnt work free and much quicker? Advice please. Thanks.

I received my watch this past Saturday, Dec 21st. I had to call Skytell because they don't have any of the Timex Internet Messenger CAP codes loaded in their system. I called yesterday morning, Dec 23rd, at approximately 9:30 am EST and they still haven't sent the page to my watch to activate everything. They had told me it should take 4 hours to get everything done, but it is now over 24hrs.

Not really a big deal, but their website did state that you needed to contact them before 11:00am on Dec 23rd to get it activated by Christmas.

ok found the code............still there is a problem. From timex site "When you purchase a Timex Internet Messenger watch, SkyTel® will give you one full year of unlimited nationwide paging service...absolutely FREE...on all new activations from March 1, 2002 through Dec. 31, 2002."
And they arent shipping anything else untill 12-30-02 due to the Holidays.
So you wont get it in time for the FREE service.I wanted this too......🙁

This is a great watch. I've had mine for about 9 months now. But without the free year of service, it is definitely WARM, not hot.

I hope you guys aren't confusing Internet Messenger watches w/ Beepwear/Beepewear pro watches because there are huge differences. The Internet Messenger weighs less, has smaller mass (Like 30% size reduction) and I also think the batterly lasts longer. The Internet Messenger ($50) costs more than the Beepwear ($29) though. The Beepwear has been out since 1997/1998 and the Internet Messenger started selling last year, so I hope you guys are buying the Internet Messenger (Has "Internet Messenger" written on the watch) and not the Beepwear watch(has "Beepwear" written on the watch).
