At this point I'd wait 'til black Friday to see if it lowers again and/or offer free shipping.

This item is in the black friday e-mail I got from ewiz quoting the 44.80 price tag...It may come down some on friday, but if this e-mail is accurate it won't.

In on the T800UX2GC4 for $59.74.

I already have this set running in my system so this is a cheap upgrade to 4gb for me!

Can you provide an example (a link to a 2G DDR2 800 stick for a lower price)?

That is 2 X 1G, right?
http://www.ewiz.com/detail.php?name=T800UX2GC4

I am looking for 2 X 2G and wouldn't mind paying a little bit more for better overclocking.
But, I am not getting 2 X 1G.

Yes they are 2 x 1gb.

Since I already have a set I don't see the point of getting a 2 x 2gb kit if I can just add two more 1gb sticks this cheap.

It is OOS, but Outpost.com has a 2x2GB kit (??? forgot brand) for $89.99 with free shipping and no rebates. Also, Newegg has some G.Skill 2x2GB kit for $79.99 with free shipping after a $40 MIR.

OMG PRICES KEEP DROPPING!

We're talking about 2x2GB deals. If you want 2x1GB deals, then there's the $25AR deal at Frys.com or the $28ARFS deal at Frys.com.

Anyone have input as to the differences in quality, compatability or overclocking?
I currently have a junker ecs mb but am planning to upgrade at some point.

I just ordered 2 more.

Mustanggt: Try 5-5-5-16. That worked for me. How much voltage are you using?

Price down again. Will we see this lower than $40?

Just got 4 of these in, and popped them into a Dell Precision 390 running with Vista Biz 64bit. Nice.

Geezus! How low can it go? I already have plenty of RAM. Stockpile now in case of future RAM shortage?

My next prediction. RAM prices will bottom out (maybe a bit lower than now) and go back up somewhat by 1st quarter 2008.

Maybe. ;)

Went to order around lunchtime today when it was listed at 43 and change. Glad I waited until tonight to order the 2GB stick ... every dollar counts !! This ST RAM is much better than I initially anticipated.

I really don't need it, and I'd like to avoid buying things I don't need, but this deal is so hot that not buying it is beginning to hurt. What are the chances that this RAM is going to be significantly more expensive if I don't buy now? If the price is likely to shoot up to $80-90 per stick I'll buy it now just to be safe. Any theories?

aright i couldn't hold out anymore. i bought 4gb. i dont care if the price goes down anymore. actually i do...just trying to tell my cheap ass i dont so i dont cry about it tomorrow if it does. this is a really good deal but do they pricematch their own prices in case the price does go down tomorrow?

edit: $91 shipped

edit: i entered the wrong CVV for my credit card so i had to call them. the customer service people were really really nice and helpful. i was VERY surprised.
i called them back a second time to confirm my order status because the lady said to call back and check up. i got another guy who said he'll go find the person who originally took my order and have them call me back. i figured it was BS and i wouldn't be called back but sure enough in 10 minutes she called me back to let me know that everything went through and she'd expedite my shipping too! i have to say im really happy with ewiz right now. great price, great customer service.
