Gotta love how they constantly advertise an HD-ready set as an HDTV monitor. No wonder folks are always confused about HD. IMO it's not a TV unless it has a tuner, no matter what they try to call it.

You are right. This is not a TV, it is just a monitor.

That's the point. I know it's a monitor, I just wish they would say 'HD-ready' instead of 'HDTV'. It's not an HDTV anything if it doesn't have a tuner. Too many peeps see HDTV and think they're good to go, IMO, so it's kind of deceptive.

Wish I had a Costco membership but I hate spending $50 a year (I'm a tight wad!).

Good find op and Costco deal finder guy!

Said 2-6 weeks a few days ago. They just changed my order from Delivery Estimate December 8th to shipped on November 8th.

This same monitor is gonna be a doorbuster @ Curcuit city for 499.99 on BF. For the misers like myself who'll do anything to not have to pay shipping.

Shipping is free from Target with the coupon.

That's pretty hot, but I don't think I'd wait in line on BF to *possibly* save $40.

I don't know the "usual places" for finding those coupons.

I ordered.

Plus, the CC near me doesn't even carry that brand in stores.

I got the $539.99 + tax w/free shipping deal.

My girls (3yrs & 4yrs) had better like this. I know I didn't have this & a Directv Tivo receiver in my room at that age. 😛

I dunno where to get the free shipping coupon. without it @ checkout it's $650.24, there are a lot of CC's in the tristate area, I'll just call a few stores and find out who has em.

Got mine. On the wall in the bedroom. It's pretty nice, except I can't find a remote code that allows my DirecTV w/ TIVO remote to work. Oh, and the volume control seems to not have a lot of resolution. Even the lowest volume is pretty loud at night.

I got one, but may be returning it. It shows shipped, but hasn't actually gone anywhere yet. 🙂

I got it for our daughters room, but my wife is having second thoughts about it due to their ages (3 & 4). Her fear is that it will be one less thing for them to look forward to and ask for when they're a little older.

Buy it and hide it for a few years 😛

Kidding, by then the price will probably have dropped even more.

You've GOT to be kidding - NO child needs a TV in their room, especially not 3-4 year olds.

Oh yeah, I forgot - this is the TV Nation and it's a requirement of the trade policy with China to have one per person.

if you get them an hdtv that is bigger than they are, then when they are 16 they will be expecting 2019/2020 Ford Mustangs (the car every daughter wants). The full coverage insurance alone on those cars will break you.

He is not kidding.
He's among the millions of other parents who's buying tv's for 3-5 year old kids.
That's the scary part.
