Received it July 5, 2002. Bill Gates might be the anti-christ, but MS's customer service, rebates included, is second to none.

Erhm no. HARDWARE support/service YES. Not software. With software they totally SUCK. Right now I've been going around and around with them on an obscure issue with IE and online support and they have told me several incorrect things, then they say I need to call MS and pay $200 for a support call. No, I dont think so.

All the times I've tried MS software support they have sucked... bad.

I got mine today 🙂 Ver 3.0 mouse..I had 2.0..called them up gave the the number on the bottom and that was last week thursday ...NICE 😀

hey, anybody continuing to post in this thread, can i take a short poll? i mean, i don't want anyone else posting separately about what i'm going to ask, just that if they have one opinion or the other
should i let this dude be, even though i can rip apart his last post? i'm sorry for my part in making this thread run ot
a yes or no (preferably yes) inside the post would be fine.

well unclebud...i think you should let it go...yer a respected member and valued for your opinion...and i just want to say shame on whoever is trying get extra mice that don't have a broken one...

I called for a replacement on the Wheel Mouse Optical and they shipped me the standard Wheel Mouse.
It took the CSR forever to figure out what I was talking about. "BUT THEY SHIPPED ME THE WRONG PART!!!"

Now they're going to fix it and I get to keep the crappy mouse too. 🙂

My wireless intellimouse explore died this past saturday. The little red light stopped glowing. Buttons still work. Tried new batteries but it didn't make any difference.

I called them on sunday, they said they are shipping me a new mouse. It was shipped yesterday (tuesday). Hopefully I will get it by the end of the week.

$80 mouse dies after 6 months of light use. Luckily it comes with a lifetime warranty.

i called a couple months ago replacing one of my broken m$ mice and asked the warranty question

THE NEW MOUSE IS UNDER THE OLD MOUSE WARRANTY

(u dont get another 90 days... so hopefully if the new mouse breaks its still within the original 90 days...

Soong,
it's not a shame to get this offer even your mouse is not broken.
This is like an auto recall, the manufacturer has to pay the car dealer to check and fix your car even you don't see any problem.

If you don't own a ms mosue, and you feel it's a shame, why did you post a response here?
Then why can't I post a response to Unclebud's $0.99 mouse deal here?

Unclebud, what do you want to poll?

Thanks for the post and the phone #. Just called and should have a replacement in 7-10 days according to the lady I spoke with.

This is a question to those that have already received their mice, what form of shipping was used? Mine says it was shipped on 6/26 and I still haven't received it.

Well King... i just assumed that most of have some ethics regarding blatant ripping off or fraud...my opin...and thats why i say shame...ppl who are abusing this won't feel any remorse 😉 but oh well....

Mine was shipped USPS Media Mail. It was a week or less. IF it shipped on 6/26 you should have received it by now. I CALLED after that.

I don't know what is with people these days. People complain that companies don't offer good service, and when the companies do, people take advantage of them. People act like they have a right to lie, cheat and steal.

Thanks for the heads up! I should be getting my mouse in the next few days.

Calling the # was simple. They didn't even ask what was wrong with it.

Good thing because my laser had been acting up the last few months...

I saw this thread when it first surfaced, and only now has my mouse begun to function improperly. The left mouse button likes being random. When i single click, sometimes it double clicks, sometimes it doesnt work at all, sometimes it single clicks. When i hold it down, sometimes it clicks rapidly, sometimes it doesnt let me unclick. I called the 800# and all I had to give them was the part #. I asked the service agent if he needed my product ID, and he said no.

?????
?????
?????
?????

Is this normal? I just want to make sure I get my replacement product.
