i bought those knives, they're made in china. Quality isn't the best. But for a college student, it's not too bad for the money.

so what if they are made in China??? everything is made in China or assembled in China...MP3/DVD players to computer cases car parts, lights...man~ you name it...

The point is for $9.95 drop off at your door steps, it's a killer buy, I don't think any 9.95 knives comes in 7 and a cutting board and they send it to your home.
 
some of there stuff is good, but some of there stuff is really junk. Not even worth the shipping cost...overall is good though.
 
German knives made in China? Interesting. That's almost as bad as the American flags made in Tiawan.

ETLA: I saw on FW Tim just edited your post and told you that IS referral link, and you posted on that same topic after Tim edited your link so you should know what's going on there. I believe in the matter affiliate links Tim is one of the experts. I'm not saying you are benefit from that link, but some one is definitely benefit from that link. If you want to play stupid and don't even admit you know that's a referral link, that's fine with me. But I just thought people should be aware of the fact.
 
I bought those knife so I think I should say something. Those are junky knife, might worth $5, but that's it. It's not a great knife set as the bigbig forum said.
 
Nice and deceptive of them to make the package look very suspiciously like a Henckels' knife set. 🙂

For the price, it's probably worth every penny.

BTW, if anyone hesitates about dropping some decent money ($50-100) on a really nice chef's knife from Germany (H., or Wusthof) or France (Sabatier), DO NOT HESITATE. Really good kitchen knives are awesome and make a tremendous difference. While you can get away with just a really good 6-8" chef's knife (mine is Henckels), I'd also suggest a serrated vegetable knife (5 Star series is fantastic -- $70 for one of those though!).

If you're looking for great knives at a very good price, look for Forschner knives, they're the same people who make the Victronix swiss army knife. A bit difficult to find, but worth the search.

The german STYLE knive set is worth $10, so this is like free shipping! I would like to add the name of this site can be deceptive. I think the truth name of the site should be freeshipping.com instead of shippingonly.com.🙂
