just go to shippingonly.com it's on the front page.

I bought three items from shippingonly.com.... I bought this stupid multifunction tool (supposed to be like a leatherman, and comes with two wannabe swiss army knifes) that suck SO bad... I mean seriously, only if you wanted to cut your fingers and be extremely frustrated would you even consider purchasing that crap. The other thing I bought that was decent was the Navy Seal Knife... I use it for opening my UPS packages, and it's ok. Besides that, I think everything else in that store is junk. It's nice for them to pretend everythings free... but the stuff is worth about .50 cents, and they charge 5-6 bucks for shipping for every item (at least that much) so it comes out to be pretty freaking worthless....

Just my 50 cents.

=)

Speaking of knives, are those new fancy knives with the ceramic blade really that much better than the stainless steels?

I find it humorous when BigBig people say, "If it comes with a cutting board or sharpening steal, you KNOW that it is quality"! ROFL! I have some things I want to sell them.

I agree that Henckels are nice knives; but out of all the Henckels we own, my favorite is the cheapest one, a serrated Eversharp. I can't find them anymore, so I think it was made for Henckel.

Lord Gwynz: I read something about ceramic knives awhile ago, and they are apparently amazing. Besides, you can bypass security at the airport and hijack a plane! j/k

SirFshAlot: We have a set of the Eversharp knives (steak knives), and they are nice. They slice meat well -- we found out since my wife accidentally stuck one in her palm one day. 😱 The Five Star vegetable knife I mentioned above is fantastic -- I can literally cut tomato slices that are practically transparent!

AndrewR,
the one I have has very prominent teeth.
I still see other Eversharp knives, but not the one I have.
It's about 5"
I've searched the net, to no avail.🙁

If you're looking for kitchen knives, check out Amazon.com's kitchen dept. Looks like some good prices. I just bought a set there. They have Henckel, Sabatier, Chef Choice, etc. Most half off list (whatever that means).

OKAY:

First of all, no, these are not Henckels knives. (You people are the same ones who bitch about a $99 Hard Drive by saying a $200 hard drive is better. No sh*t, sherlock.)

These knives used to be $7.95 at Shipping Only about a month ago. I bought in then (I think I saw the link on FW, can't remember). I got the knives within a week of ordering.

The knives are absolutely NOT crap. I'd say the quality is just as good or better than the knife block I paid $25 for at Target. Plastic handles (just like all knives except for the expensive gourmet variety), but sturdy. The blades are actually incredibly thick, and quite a bit LESS flimsy than my $25 set. I've been using them for about a month, had them in the dishwasher several times, and they're keeping up just fine.

There are lots of knife sets for $15-$20 these days at places like Target and Wal-Mart. I'd say these knives are about of the same quality. You don't get any kind of block to store them in here, but the set does come with a flimsy cutting board (which again I've had in the dishwasher several times, and it's holding up fine.)

So to the critics: Chill out. A $10 set of knives is never going to be the "best" or even "great." But I can say with certainty these knives are worth $10, and then some. They're not going to fall apart, and they maintain their sharpness. What else, exactly, do you want a knife to do?

And by the way: I don't know you ETLA, but anyone touting these knives as "free -- only pay shipping!" probably was looking to profit here. That's blatant hyping of something that is anything but free. Their shipping prices are inflated, obviously, to cover their costs. (I wonder why the "shipping" on this item was $7.95 when I bought it a month ago, but now that it's suddenly become more popular the shipping rates have gone up??)

At the very least, you should change the thread title. There's nothing FREE about this.

Remember that everytime you buy something made in China, you are supporting slavery as many of the people there are forced to work for practically nothing. Avoid buying from China whenever possible.

I ordered some stuff from these guys and still hasn't shipped, it's been a while, anyone got there order recently from shippingonly?

thanks
