I tried to order the prism and use the coupons. I also got the email stating that the coupon was only good for about ~$60 rather than $150, even though I printed an order statement with the $150 discount. I called staples and they said that on the website it says that they are not responsible for a typographical errors, the $150 off was a typographical error, and would not honor that discount they would only give the $60 off for the software.

Good luck to you guys who got in early. I hope you guys get it.

I just put in an order and &quot;ice&quot; was in stock, but I live in the boondies. It was placed at about 10:00am and I've printed out the order confirmation from the web. They might (will) try to yank it, I'm sure, but is there anything I can do at a Staples B&amp;M with the printout to get the items at $60. Heck, I don't even want the software, just the Visor. :)

Here's what I did.

Went to a local Staples and sat at their Online In-store Station (usually utlilized for special orders only).

Ordered the Handmark Pocket Money &amp; List Anything Mobile. Proceeded the checkout and mark for &quot;Paying at Cashier&quot;. At the same time ask the store associate to find one Visor Deluxe in their inventory (Graphite for me) and he handed one to me within minutes.

Went to the cashier pay for the on-line in store coupon and pay for the Visor at the same time. I pointed to the cashier the stipulation on the web page printout and he entered the code. Boom I'm out the door with my Visor Deluxe.

Point is, your in-store online order works just as do your normal online procedure. Only difference is, if the software are B/O for the instore online method, you still have the Visor on hand.

Walkout $59.94

The deal is now officially dead (atleast online). The coupon now takes out $60 instead of $149.99. <sigh>

I called the Staples help thing at 7:00AM mountain time to see if I could change the color of it and the lady didn't say anything was wrong with the order so hopefully it will go through.

sucks! I got back and selected the two software, hit the update cart and the blue was out of stock. added the green visor and it showed up as 199. but then the coupon code showed up at 49.98!!! I need to be quicker next time. :Q

I ordered 3 last night around 10:30pm PST. ALL order have the visor listed in them, and they ALL still show at $65 and some change.

I believe it is back up now...

in my area code, 60201, they have no more graphite, ice or blue's left, but the 199 ones are still available.

The coupon code knocks off 149 again.

109 shipped-not bad, but not too great...I'll pass.

Sigity...i called staples and got $50 knocked off the green and orange visor which then brought them down to around $55.xx.

ordered 2 last night. i just checked the order status, and so far so good it states $65 a piece. keeping my fingers crossed. expected arrival date is tomorrow!

Well, they got me good. I ordered one this morning and when I checked the order status an hour later they changed the coupon to $60. I call the 800 number to cancel and they say, &quot;sorry it is in processing so we can't cancel it.&quot;

I hate fighting with these people.

I talked with my credit card company and they told me if I have proof of what I expected to pay (the Order History screen) and Staples charges me more I can dispute it and I'll be credited the difference. I hope they're right!

exact same thing here. they told me just to refuse shipment, rather than having to ship it back. you'll get billed, but after they get it back you'll get refunded.

i never thought i'd become one of those Hot Deals whiners, but this is bait-and-switch. i was on the phone with one of the managers and she told me that they fixed the coupon this morning and that the web techs are still working on fixing the web site. funny how the accounting software can be updated while the web site can't.

Well, tried this a little late (around 8am this morning Central Time).

The order went through, Blue were out of stock, so I ordered Ice. The coupon code worked fine and the order went through, total $64. Then I checked the Order Status and the Visor was not in the Order, just the 2 software packages. I called a CSR, who was &quot;nice&quot; and apparently not briefed yet. She said the Ice were out of stock, but I could get a Green or Graphite, so I ordered a Graphite. Then she told me that will be $219 and I gave her the code. It came up as only $60 off, so I told her I had a copy of the submitted order and the current order history which show the $149 discount.

After a couple of calls, and apparently being briefed on the error, she called me back and said it's a website error, the discount is only $60. So I asked to cancel the order and she said fine, done.

Oh well, I didn't really need it anyway. I'm waiting to get a 256mb Ipaq for $50.

All 3 of my orders still show good. I had ordered 4, but got a cancellation on that order this morning cuz the Ice was OOS. Ordered last night around 10:30.....if this comes, i'm selling my $99 Sony Clie......buddy at work is taking the other......the other going to my dad.
