<< exact same thing here. they told me just to refuse shipment, rather than having to ship it back. you'll get billed, but after they get it back you'll get refunded.

i never thought i'd become one of those Hot Deals whiners, but this is bait-and-switch. i was on the phone with one of the managers and she told me that they fixed the coupon this morning and that the web techs are still working on fixing the web site. funny how the accounting software can be updated while the web site can't. >>



I hope they contacted you and told you that they upped the price, b/c if they didn't, they broke the law...
 
I ordered this morning as well. Submitted order screen came up as $59.95 total, Order History screen came up as $59.95 also both with the Visor (Ice) included.

The order status came up with only the software for the $59.95 and no mention of the Visor. The delivery status showed as 1 day for all three items when ordered and the system did not kick back the Ice Visor as out of stock when the order was submitted.

I'm glad I used AMEX since they are very consumer friendly on these type of things.
 
i actually ordered 2, and on my order history screen, they both came up (on both accounts) but the thing is, when i called, they said they only had the software listed on my order... didn't want to go through the hassle and everything of not getting this, hvaing to argue over that, so i cancelled... but if i can go in and get it at a b&amp;m, then that's a lot easier... i just need to know how to use the coupon code, and whether or not i have to buy the software with it... anyone know? pls. help!
 
btw, they said they'd honor the 149 coupon at a later date as well when i called... although you'd have to wait till it came back in stock
 
you go to a B&amp;M where they have an access point computer which lets you login to your account. then chosse option to pay at register. That's how I did it and it worked, buyt if the coupon is changed in there database as some people claim , it will no longer work
 
Tried the B&amp;M method after ordering online (ordering on the special order system and paying in store) the system was already updated to only reflect the $59.95 off and kept telling me the Ice was out of stock (despite the fact that I saw some Ice in boxes underneath display).

This sucks! I'm always 24 hrs late on these &quot;HOT&quot; deals.

Oh well, there will be a slew of these products on Ebay in a couple of days--with good prices! 🙂
 
My order still says processing. Any chance Ill get it? Im about to head out for the day and dont want to come home with a shipped order of nothing but software that cant be canceled.
 
Uh oh.... staples has a warning message... might be b&amp;M only if you can pull it off... too bad the coupon changed to only 60 off though.

After ordering mine this morning, I came home to a cancellation email. I called and was told that the coupon was the wrong amount. Oh well, nothing gained, nothing lost.

I'm not calling anybody, I used a coupon code that was available on their website,if they aren't going to honor it they can contact me.
 
My order that I did last night only shows the two softwares. I called CSR and they said only two software orders are on the order. So those of you that are waiting for the package because it MIGHT come.. it most likely won't.. so cancel your order while you can.

I noticed the cashier had entered the coupon number first, then he manually reviewed my order sheet that I had printed out from work (not the same one printed for the cashier) and entered $149.98 as first or originally accounted in the web page.

So if your luckly, the cashier might just take your shopping cart sheet and enter the coupon and then manually enter the amount.

I feel bad now that I got my buddy hope up high. It's going take a few big mac to smooth the pain.
 
I have a question. If my order says the following, is this good? It looks like the Visor will be delivered quickly, and then a week later, the software. Am I likely to have trouble? What do you think?
