No offence, SMP, but I don't see anything wrong with dating hot-looking ladies or men. Now, I only have a beef with ugly looking men who talk crap about hot-looking girls or non-hot-looking when they aren't hot themselves. But there is nothing wrong in telling the difference if that's what nature offers us. Should we condemn nature for affording us beauty, I think not!
It's ironic and funny that Michael Savage (a syndicated radio talk show host) spoke of beauty and marriage yesterday. He said how he thought men should marry beautiful women 'cuz that's the only thing that lasts. He said how it starts well with men pursuing such but then their heads get messed up when they are told there's more than looks in a relationship. Uhmm . . . I hope I fairly narrated what he said. I do not claim he's some divine authority. I just felt like mentioning an opinion I'm tending to lean on. I for one only want a hot-looking guy. At least if he treats me like crap it feels better knowing it wasn't some ugly guy who should have appreciated me but rather treated me like crap.
Yes, I know the issues as some African proverb goes: "He who marries a beauty marries trouble." I have difficulty reconciling that. However, I do think most of the time it is a problem because people have other issues. If one takes one's time, it would be just as successful a relationship. People should learn to appreciate their significant others and compliment them.
