Fvck. I tried to send an email a couple hours ago when I first seen this thread, but my mail account might not be active anymore cause it wouldnt send so I was gonna send it with a different one but I waited now fvck it.
 
I am still using artic silver that was pre number. I remember seeing AS 2 and laughing to myself, like I'm gonna throw away my tube and buy a new one relabled #2. I got enough left for another thousand processors. Artic silver 5 and now something better. AHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Email was sent on th 21st got it two weeks later. Have yet to use it.
Zalman, ThermalRight and CoolerMaster Premium are all within 1C of AS5.

This free TIM may have a high copper content and be conductive.

Blehh. Got hte same response. It's ok. I still have over 1/2 of my tube of AS5, and only used my ASC once. Have a fat tube of AS Alumina also... + 2 full tubes of vantec crap + 1 fat tube of thermalright + 1 small zalman tube.. Ive got WAY TOO MUCH thermal compound here...

This WAS their plan all along. They knew people would visit and request the Free offer. After they got enough exposure or what-not, they of course want to get some money out of it. Typical company gimmick.
