I would check your settings or your setup then. I ran it on a 4400 and it ran like a dream.

I didn't mess with the doom 3 settings at all, just ran it on default. Also on an xp1700 too.![]()

I agree. It is labeled "DDR3" quite clearly.
I'm extremely tempted to buy this card. One question though, how can you tell the difference between DDR and DDR3 memory on a card?? What can you read to measure the clock speeds of video cards (notice I'm using an FX 5200...never had to do that before because it probably doesn't matter)
