I didn't compare these two models when I see your post. But the first thing comes up in my mind is the price of the Lex inks is gonna kill you.

I think the picture quality is mucyh better than Lexmark. Lex also saturates theirs with ink and goes through it much faster. I gave my lexmark away.

My order status is still 7/3. I have not received mine yet. I did just receive notification of shipment of my S40, from an order placed over 3 weeks ago. So orders may sit there a while, but Dell seems to be filling backorders, albiet slowly.

correct me if I am wrong but the cmaeraand printer needed to be bought by btween 4/1 and 6/30/2002...so the rebate is no good now

Woowoo, got my printer today. Brand new.

However, the stupid shipping fool put the UPS shipping label over the printer's UPC label, !@#$##$%.

Anyone knows a good way to separate the two without too much damage to the printer's UPC lable?

They did the same thing to me. Just peel slowly, mine came off with only a little damage.
