I got 11,979 3dmark03 with mine everything stock, and 5,7xx (cant remember) 3dmark05. I was wanting 12,000+ and 6,000+ @stock respectivly, pretty close with this setup:

MSI K8T Neo2-FIR (K8T800pro)
A64 Winchester 3000+ @stock
1GB 2x512 Kingston HyperX PC4000 dual channel
BBA X800 XT PE (REFURBISHED yay!!) @stock
2x Maxtor 200GB pata 8MB HDD

That makes me feel pretty good considering my setup vs your a64 setup and only 650 something difference on 3dmark.

Got mine today, and been using it for about 3 hours. SO much better than my 9700 Pro (but damn, that was a great card for the 3 YEARS I had it!), and it's running like a champ!

can you compare what you got to this pic Here, do you have the writing in the upper right by the power connector? do you have extremely faint lines on the contacts?

I got mine today, too. It overclocks to 560/590 without artifacting in 3DMark05, ATITool, Doom3 or HL2. Best $220 video card i ever bought.

No lock-ups so far on my cheesy HP "300W max" PSU (130nm A64 3400+, 3 hard drives, etc).

My 3DMark05 score is exactly 6000. That looks about typical.

does anybody know the 3dmark03 scores for a single 6800 ultra in a system like shinare's?

My highest scores overclocked are 5746 for 05 and 13000 for 03.

Here is a close up from the unedited jpg i took, sorry for the size.

i am just curious, but with the card having the 3yr warranty, i am not too worried about it and i don't plan to o/c it. the most i would play would be 1280x1024 and it does that (well 1280x960) fine in my p4 rig..., i am just lacking in the ram now, but it just kicks a$$

Got mine today... came looking brand spanking new - but there is that odd writing near the 4 pin plug like many of the other cards, but checking w/ a magnifying glass... doesn't seem like anyone has ever plugged this baby in.

I installed the CD drivers w/out a glitch, but when I download the new Catalyst off of the ATI site, I get a error at startup. Anyone else having a problem with this?

And what is ATI Tool?

yea, I get the same error, it says CLI error or something like that. Anyone know what that is?

i would rather use the omegas, but they must not install something because everytime i would install them, i would get the "found new hardware", maybe it is with some feature i am not using with the card. i even installed the ati stuff, then installed the omega over top and still had the same problem...

it has to do with your firewall not letting it go out for some reason. i run zone alarm and this is what is in the explanation:

its good to know that i'm not alone w/ that CLI error on startup.

I just setup BF2 at Max everything w/ 4XAA... and I SH!T you not... it takes me 15 min to load up Dragon Valley on single player

In fact... im typing this up on my laptop waiting for the map to load!

Alright... well it finished loading. Man.. these graphics rock! A little bit of a lag, but probably due to my P4 2.66 and PC2700 ram

I got mine and messed around with it. Looks like I will have to RMA it. When I try to run 1920x1080 I get some nasty multicolor grid pattern artifact on the TV. Not good. 1776x1000 works fine though and that is baed on the same timings. I might roll back to the 5.7 drivers and see if that works. My 9800 pro and 5.7 was doing 1920x1080i with no problem.

Got ~6200 on 3dMark05 with a A64 3000+ @ 2.2 and 2GB of RAM.

15 min of intense playing on BF2 at max settings w/ 4XAA... the lag is gone

XIAOBAO... I'm still running the standard 250W from Dell and everything is holding up fine... I think its actual rating of 345w is good enough w/ 2 opticals, 2 HD and this beast of a videocard

Anyone figure out that CLI thing?
