UPDATE*

I bought the mobo and chip and stuff on the same day as the case. Got the chip a couple of days ago now going to get the case. I cannot wait. WOOHOO!!

Checked the website, it still said backorderd,

When I called them today, they said it was shipepd yesterday and I should get it today. even gave me the tracking number. finally!!!!!!!

Can anyone give me good suggestions on how I can avoid frying my mobo? What's the best thing to ground my self to? I have one of them anti static wrist band thingies, is the case's metal good enough to be grounded with? I was thinking the metal leg of the table or even the kitchen sink.

I've never fried any pc components and I have been in my case many times. And I've brought home old parts from work in my coat pocket. Never had anything fail. I've even used a CPU that has been sitting in a change dish with no problems.

I think that in order to wreck a part, you either need to be extremely unlucky, or be working with the PS and have it turn on or something while connecting it.

screws for the mobo are a bit of a 'touch' thing. they don't need to be tight, just enough to hold the motherboard in place (finger tight and maybe half to a full turn more)

Got my case today, the same day I received an e-mail form outpost saying they just shipped my SX830. $60.00 after rebate ain't bad.

Just got my case, too. But can someone tell me what the inlcuded motherboard screws look like? I thought they were supposed to be golden...

What do they mean by mail in original coupon on the rebate form? What coupon are they talking about???????

Inward (into the case). Of course, it depends on your cooling strategy, but you normally want to draw cool air into the low, front of the case and warm air out the high, back...

Just got my case too, I'm soooo glad I didnt cancel the order!!! I think I'll hug it to sleep tonight, It's sooo beautiful...it's only $50.... *sob, tears of joy* :)

Is it just me or is anybody else not able to track their order on the Outpost order tracking page? I got an email indicating that both my motherboard and case have shipped but the Outpost tracking page still only shows the case w/ a tracking number. And the page says to "Track It" if you have a tracking number but I don't see anywhere to "Track It", am I blind?:confused:

You'll probably have to call em to get the trackign number. Mione still said backordered and I got it yesterday!

I started using the case yesterday and nearly freaked out when it wouldn't turn on ( my dumbass didn't plug the power switch in correctly). Runs a lot cooler then my genereic case did, very steady CPU temp at about 23C and mobo about the same. LOVE THIS CASE!!!!!! BTW I'm using ASUS probe for the temp readings, is that accurate?

i got mine yesterday! didn't have a chance to install it until after i got home from work (12) so i was up till 3 in the morning setting up. i can't believe it's only $50!!!

All I can tell you folks is that you got an *awesome* deal. I would have bought one of these myself if I hadn't purchased an Enlight 7237 about two weeks earlier. I found one of my original lists for the perfect case and, wouldn't you know it, the Antec 830 and 1030 were at the top of my list. This was based on reading a ton of reviews and forum recommendations. I ended up with the Enlight since the Antec cases were *much* more expensive, especially with a higher wattage power supply (I ended up putting a 340 Watt PS in my Enlight).

Is it a sickness when you're tempted to buy something even though you don't need it. I actually had the Antec in my Outpost cart before I resisted the temptation. ;)

Got my case this morning :D ...I received an e-mail that is was shipped Monday, I then checked my order last night and it said backordered :confused:...What a nice case, it sure beats the crappy cases at the computer shows for $20...LOL
