I have this case, it's outstanding. Sad to say I paid $99 for it at Comp USA. You all are getting a bargain!

Nice case, I almost bought this one but decided I needed something bigger (my SX1200) and I love it!!! This case is basically the same just smaller. It's so easy to work with and such high quality metal (unlike those $10 cases from compgeeks)...

Hey all, look a few posts up for my questions, actually I'll just put them here again:
1. Is this a better case than my Enlight 7237?
2. WHen I checked out (I have never used Outpost before) I did not get charged for shipping, and I chose overnight, did I get lucky, or will I get a surprise bill from them for shipping?

Yes, I believe this is better than the Enlight. You might have had divine intervention and ben lucky to have free overnight shipping...amen Pastor

You guys are killing me with these deals. I thought I needed professional help before, but now I'm sure of it - I just bought one too. If I don't stay away from this forum for awhile I'm gonna be divorced soon.

<< 1. Is this a better case than my Enlight 7237? >>

I believe most people on this forum would say yes. I have both and I like them both but I would pick the SX830 over the 7237 anyday. You will agree when you get it.

<< 2. WHen I checked out (I have never used Outpost before) I did not get charged for shipping, and I chose overnight, did I get lucky, or will I get a surprise bill from them for shipping? >>

When I checked out I selected each of the shipping methods to see the cost. Ground was $7, 2nd day was $16 and overnight was $22. I selected ground cause it was cheapest for me. They will be shipping to AL. I only ordered the case. Maybe you somehow found a glitch in their system.

REMINDER TO THOSE WHO ARE ORDERING THE CASE, BE SURE YOU DOWNLOAD THE REBATE PDF. IT EXPIRES 11/30. SOME ONLINE RETAILERS HAVE BEEN KNOWN TO REMOVE THEIR ONLINE REBATES AS SOON AS IT EXPIRES

Looks like the modem is still at $25, check the rebate info and that will show as $25 also.

I really like the Enlight case, but this is the one I want for my next build. Yeah, I think it's a better case.

I missed the surge protector, but I needed some decent printer paper, so I added '108+ Epson Paper for $8.99 - $3.00 Rebate' to get the Free Shipping.

The modem is $39.99 before MIR (shows up in the shopping cart). This is a far better case than the Enlight; the rails fit much tighter, and the airflow is excellent. The Enlight PSU is rated higher than the Antec by AMD, but I like 'em both.

I hear ya Jimmy, I'm right there with you man...

Edit: Dammit. I just checked my order summary and it has 11/30/2001 2:20:53 on it! The page I printed out reads 11/29/2001 tho'. :( What do you guys think? Am I $crewed or what?

The rebate says "Offer good from November 15, 2001 to November 30, 2001" It say "to" not "thru". Hope it'll be OK.

My order says the modem shipped but the case is backordered. Maybe that's why I didn't get charged shipping?

yeah, it says $25, but when you put it in the cart, it becomes $39.99.

I still can't find the rebate for the $9.99 surgeprotector! I think the outpost.com website is screwed up!!!

GundamF91: whoa... they changed it since I placed my order.

Well, for once I got a deal.

Hmmm... I wonder what this is going to cost me.

hmmm......well, maybe the rebate form will be with the surgemaster itself. it's not the first time this has happened....but I'd hope for a scanned image just to be sure. Anyone??

Maybe Outpost simply forgot to change the title/description of this item. If that's the case, I'll make Outpost EAT IT!!!

VITop....yep, for once I got in on a good deal in the last minute. The Modem was still $25 in cart when I ordered. What a difference a few minutes makes. :D

great deal...just ordered the case along with the athlon/mobo for $199 (no fry's near me)

this is the first system i'm building myself - got a few questions

1) i want to get ddr ram from crucial - what's the difference between the 1600 & 2100
2) what's a good QUIET heatsink/fan i can match with this...i don't plan to overclock it and need a fairly quiet setup
3) what's the best thermal paste & how exactly do i use it ?? (and do i even really need it ??)

thanks guys
