Actually I've burned a ton of DVD movies using +R and they all play without problems.

-R media is required for console backups and picky (read: cheap) DVD players.

Smoking deal. I ordered the +R. I don't really care if I get CMC or Ricoh since my Benq burns either media without any problem. My last 150 Memorex 4x +R disks have been Ricoh though.

Ebates is your friend with this deal. Not only do they have the $20 coupon in a popup window, they usually calculate your 2% rebate by the price before coupons. That would save you another $2.

If these are CMC, I've had excellent success with both -R and +R in my Pioneer burners.
