Just received mine that were backordered from UPS. The coupons worked as the CS rep said. It looks like I got CMC. I thought I had Ricoh's based on the description I found on the other thread. Everything seemed to match. But at least the first pack I opened were CMC disks. Did they get wise and make the packaging the same? I now see that I guess you should look for "#5305-6040".

I guess I am stuck with at least one pack since the packaging is opened. Has anyone ever tried to return an opened pack? Should I just use the CMCs and hope I have better luck next time? It was a good price after all.

I bought the memorex dvd-r discs from office depot and was wondering if it was ritek or some other manufacturer. The sku# is 3202-5552. Can you tell me what they are and how they compare to the sku's out there for memorex?

Also, is it better to get DVD-R or DVD+R discs? I just bought the NEC ND-2500A DVD+-R writer.

The players i have to watch DVD's are the Panasonic A310 and the Apex AD-1500.
