i was seeing if the prices will go down.. but seems like this is as low as it can go for now, some dealers are actually increasing the price

if i remember correctly, all dell come w/ 2 slots of ram.
 
Took a plunge and ordered one, I'll see how it goes. Now, does anybody want to buy some 256 meg PC3200 sticks? 🙂
 
With a $40 dollar savings on 2 of these sticks, I had to give CNETPC a shot over Crucial. Let's all hope we get a prompt and satisfactory delivery. Resellerratings.com have these guys rated at a "7.50" over 6 months, and "5.82" lifetime. We shall see what happens but as I said, I am in for two.

Keep us updating on overclocking too. Like how high can you raise the fsb and what voltages and timings you are using. 😀
 
I ordered two sticks on the 24th, I just got my delivery confirmation today.

I should have it on Monday, I'll let you know then.

Ordered on 2-25; received my confirmation this morning; should be here by Tuesday or so; hopefully it will be the same as others.
 
i gotta intel d845pebt2 board - right now i have 2 - 256mb chips of pny pc 2700 . will buying 2 of these hurt my performance, i mainly rip audio and do some dvd "backups" - i want fast!
 
I ordered on the 26th and got my FedEx tracking number just a moment ago. The package will probably arrive Monday. Will report results here.

 
Got 2 sticks on the 25th 'round 11am. Haven't received anything yet, besides order confirmation. No shipping info or anything. I e-mailed them twice and called them. Nobody answers the phone.

I am starting to get worried.....
 
I got my tracking number this afternoon, it shipped out of NJ, so it could be here by tomorrow. I'll let you know.
 
in on the evening of the 27th - joy. we'll see how it compares to my current 512 pc2700 generic ram which sits at around 180 with horrible timings.
