** NOTE: This is DDR2 Memory, it will NOT work in DDR systems **

Works great in Dell 4700, 8400, 5150/E510, 9100, and XPS Gen3, Gen4, Gen5, and XPS 400 and XPS 600. I have not tested it in the 5100. Probably works in low-level Dell servers that use Non-ECC DDR2 memory, too.

Can I use this on an nForce3-A motherboard? I'm assuming that this RAM is backwards compatible to DDR400?

No, not at all. Very different.

I see now. It's not the speed, it's the RAM type. It's DDR2 and not DDR. Why is this RAM cheaper than regular DDR?

Probably over-production. There are no amd-based systems using it, only Intel. I assume this because amd's market share was higher than expected the past 2 or 3 months.

Does ddr2 667 offer any performance advantage to speak of over this ddr2 533?

Just purchased it, I am not taking the risk of them going out of stock.

$68.49 :Q Crazy good deal on DDR-2. Wait till AMD releases their new motherboards and the price will jump on DDR-2 guaranteed. Jump on it while you have the chance.
