I love my A70...however I am now looking for an upgrade due to wanting to print things bigger, and not the camera being inferior.
For the web the A70 was overkill, for many pictures output to paper - created images hard to tell what were the film images vs the digital....(printing with a Canon i960). Any images that were blurry or crappy were user error....the A series is more for those wanting to set things up, not purely point and shoot all the time.
Now that the G6 is 10% smaller than the G5...I may upgrade....then I think of EOS series and want to go that route (an old Canon A-1 35mm SLR user)...my wife was a Nikon 3.2MP compact that makes it easier for me to go a step bigger.
The A75 at $165 though is unbeatable I would say...these are great digicams. I am willing to bet if purchased at that price you could sell in 6-12 months and break even.
